ABOUT ME
Two years ago, I moved from the frenetic world of Manhattan to the less frenetic world of the Washington DC suburbs; from a small private school to a large public school.
My photos reflect my peers’ often contradictory feelings of anonymity and living under the lens of a microscope. The fleeting moments where we are on the cusp of adulthood. The extraordinary of the banal.
I work with manual and digital photography. My love of both are reflected on here.

In no particular order, I am:
a younger brother, an older brother, a son and grandson. Fiercely loyal, a picky eater, a guitarist and audiophile. A Civil War history nerd. A fan of single serving size containers. Social. One of three Ottos at family gatherings. Respectful. Thoughtful and insightful. Mercurial. A lifeguard. An ice hockey goaltender. A night owl. Not into sarcasm. Artistic. A creative thinker. A peacekeeper. Sometimes stubborn. Always independent. A street photographer. A worrier. A car enthusiast. Hairy. A sweatshirt and sneaker hoarder. Messy yet organized. A list maker. Quietly opinionated, a little bossy. Funny. A novice baker. A pro at picking paint colors. Nearsighted. Big hearted. A Manhattanite by birth, not a Manhattanite in spirit. Patient, impatient, patient, impatient. Wildly competitive at board games. An animal lover. Protective. Farm curious. On time. Rarely without AirPods, often sporting a lanyard. Rangers forever. A thrifter. An old camera collector. Communicative. Sort of outdoorsy. Confident in my own skin. Still growing.
